This month I photographed portraits for the Draper James blog, Love, Reese! Draper James is taking a Southern Road Trip and made a stop in Charleston to talk with Garden & Gun magazine’s deputy editor Amanda Heckert. Garden & Gun is also celebrating the launch of their new book, Southern Women. I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy!

I photographed Amanda in the Garden & Gun offices, which are situated in the seriously cool Cigar Factory on East Bay Street. There were so many great places to shoot in their space we could hardly choose! My absolute favorite was shooting Amanda in front of a pin board filled with pages from the next issue. I felt like it showed Amanda in her element, and her Draper James look pulled it all together!
