Fashion Photography with Mariée Lace Veils
There has always been a part of me that lights up for anything fashion and beauty related, and it was no different for my recent fashion photography shoot with Mariée Lace Veils! I was so excited when wedding stylist extraordinaire Lindsey Nowak of The Edit reached out about coordinating a shoot with this creative brand.
Owner Jacqueline Sydnor took over a family tradition of creating heirloom wedding veils with Belgian lace and has expanded the business to include custom headpieces. Jacqueline recently designed and created an all- new collection of gorgeous headpieces that she needed photographed. Cue Lindsey organizing and styling a shoot with incredible models, hair and makeup, prop styling, and studio location.
Jacqueline’s headpieces came in white, pink, and blue, so we decided to go monochrome. Along with a prop kit from Mary Kathryn McConaghy and prop styling from Candice Lorraine, we created several flat lay shots to show off the products. We had so much fun playing with color and texture to create these shots.
We also wanted to show how the products could be styled, so we went into the studio with our four gorgeous models. Lindsey sourced wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses to match the colors of the headpieces to continue our monochrome thread. With a mix of group and individual portraits, we captured several ways to wear and style the headpieces.
I’m so excited about how this fashion photography shoot with Mariée Lace Veils came together. It took an incredible team to make this shoot happen, and I am so grateful for them! Keep scrolling to see the final photos and check out the team on Instagram.
