For Brand Photographers

If you’re shopping for someone who loves taking photos and videos, making albums, or holding onto keepsakes, I’ve rounded up some memory keeping gift ideas I think they’ll love.

My 2026 gift guide includes a mix of the coolest nostalgic cameras, crafty photo albums and journals, photo organization supplies, keepsake storage, and a few ways to display their favorite memories (in ornament form!).

Many of these are products I love and use myself. Others are things I’ve had my eye on, and all are great picks for the person who loves documenting life and enjoying their memories.

Here are the perfect memory keeping gift ideas for every type of documenter on your list:

Gifts for Nostalgia Lovers

For the friend who still misses disposable cameras: Camp Snap cameras give you that same no-screen, point-and-shoot magic, minus the film and the wait. I personally use the Camp Snap Pro and CS-8, but here’s who each one makes a great gift for.

Camp Snap 2

The original Camp Snap is the go-to for anyone who loves a pop of color (hello transparent tech aesthetic!). It’s also a great first camera for kids, thanks to its settings lock that keeps little hands from changing settings.

Camp Snap Pro

For someone who appreciates the nostalgic simplicity of a point-and-shoot but wants more image quality, the CS-Pro has double the resolution of the Camp Snap 2 and a higher-quality flash.

Camp Snap CS-8

For the friend or family member who loves capturing little moments on video, the CS-8 is a digital camcorder for nostalgic home movies and fun videos with friends.

The CS-8 Mini is a new version made just for kids, and it’s SO cute. I’d buy it for my daughter in a heartbeat!

And don’t forget the accessories! Add a fun extra like the underwater case for the Camp Snap 2, gem decorating kits, carrying cases, and wrist straps.

Want a closer look before gifting? Read my Camp Snap Pro review and comparison of the Camp Snap 2 and CS-Pro!

Gifts for Scrapbookers and Crafters

For your giftee who loves paper, photo prints, tape, and stickers, these gifts make memory keeping a little more crafty. I especially love the combination of photos, journaling, and creative freedom in these albums and journals.

Write to Me Classic Photo Album

It’s part photo album, scrapbook, and journal, all wrapped in an embossed linen cover. There are different themes for everyone from the keeper of the family photos to newlyweds and new moms. Each page is theirs to fill with prints, handwritten notes, keepsakes, and decorations.

Write to Me Photo Journals

For the family cook, traveler, or holiday lover, these themed photo journals combine simple writing prompts and space for photos. I’ve used them for years, and they’re such a fun way to document everyday moments and traditions. My personal favorites are the Baby: Birth to 5 Years and the Halloween and Christmas versions!

Don’t forget to add pens, photo corners, and stickers to get them started with their crafty memory-keeping.

Gifts for Family Historians

For the relative who’s become the family photo archivist (or keeps saying they will), put together a starter kit of photo storage, labels, and a way to digitize their collection. Or be the archivist yourself: organize a set of photos and gift them the finished collection.

IRIS 16-Case Photo Storage Carrier

These are the cases I use for storing and organizing thousands of prints. The cases inside make it easy to organize by year, event, or person, and they’re photo-safe. It also comes in a 12-case version and a 5×7″ version, too.

Brother P-Touch PTD210 Label Maker

I have an older P-Touch label maker that I use for labeling my IRIS photo storage cases (and everything else around the house, too!). The PTD210 is a newer, easy-to-use model that’s great for getting started.

Sakura Pigma Micron Archival Pens

For journaling in photo albums, or writing on archival print storage envelopes and notecards, these are my favorite pens. I personally like the 03 size. These are for paper, not for the backs of prints, where a graphite pencil is the safer choice.

Nations Photo Lab Gift Card

For the person who’s been meaning to get their photos off their phone (aren’t we all?), a gift card makes taking that step way easier. It’s the lab I personally use to order my prints.

ScanMyPhotos Gift Card

For someone with prints, slides, VHS tapes, or other analog media that needs digitizing. My mom and I used ScanMyPhotos for scanning her family’s collection of slides, and we were really happy with the entire process!

Gifts for Keepsake Collectors

For the friend who keeps everything, these trunks and cases are thoughtful ways to give all those little mementos, sentimental pieces, and family heirlooms a proper home.

Petite Keep Trunk

A stylish, heirloom-quality home for everything from baby’s first clothes and blankets to wedding shoes and veils, photos, letters, and albums. You can design a trunk for your giftee with 8 trunk colors, 40+ fabric options, custom embroidery, and even an engraved heart lock. They also have several quick-ship items if you’re shopping closer to the holidays. Add the archival, acid-free pouches for extra organization and protection.

Write to Me Keepcase

A ready-made, canvas and faux leather memory-keeping case designed to hold mementos, journals, photo albums, letters, greeting cards, and anything else that needs a special, dedicated storage spot. It comes in Oatmeal or Pink and is designed to sit on a shelf so those memories don’t get buried in a closet. Bundle it with a Write to Me photo journal for a ready-to-give gift.

Gifts for Ornament Collectors

For the friend whose tree is full of ornaments collected from trips and favorite memories, these photo ornaments are the next ones they’ll add.

Timeless Ornaments

Pottery Barn Stowe Frame Ornament

It’s basically a mini version of a frame I’d hang on my own wall! Available in silver or brass with a mat that gives the photo a professionally framed look. It’s back from last year’s gift guide because I still love it.

Artifact Uprising Oval Pressed Glass Photo Ornament

What I love most about this classic photo ornament is that you upload a photo, choose the ribbon color and charm, and it comes ready to hang. This year, you can add a 2026 charm to date it, too.

Customizable Ornaments

Petite Keep Heirloom Holiday Frame Ornament

If you want something a little more personal, this ornament comes in 4 timeless frame styles with free custom engraving. Add a name, date, or short message to make it extra special.

Personalized Photo Acrylic Ornament (ShopKiwiTreasures on Etsy)

This customizable, acrylic ornament is perfect for the friend celebrating a milestone in 2026, like a new home, an engagement, or just another special year. You can add your own text and choose from 12 different background patterns.

Colorful & Crafty Ornaments

Scalloped Acrylic Picture Ornament (ShopTartByTaylor on Etsy)

For the friend with a design-forward tree, this scalloped frame ornament comes in 36 (!) colors from bold and bright to more subtle.

Furbish Studio Our 1st Christmas Frame Ornament

This traditional-meets-crafty frame ornament is for the couple spending their first Christmas together, or a family welcoming a new baby or fur baby. The front is hand-stitched needlepoint with candy cane hearts and an “Our First Christmas” message, and I love that the velvet back protects it from poky tree needles.
